Most companies use a one size fits all machine that gets slapped to the windshield to try and push resin into the chip. It often results in half filled chips or at the very least a terrible looking windshield. At Chip Doctor, our process involves analyzing each individual rock chip. The next step involves actually drilling out the glass and any pieces that may obstruct the resin from entering and cracks. We then carefully fill it and the cracks with a high quality resin and then cure it. Each chip is different and we never use a one size fits all technique. This is why our rock chips look like they disappear.
